Before our representatives decide to vote for a bill that they probably won't even read here is a little light reading, not as long as the bill, to give them a little guidance. Of particular interest at this moment in time is this little passage from the second document.
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
